I hate the Pittsburg Penguins almost as much as the Annaheim Ducks and Sean Avery combined. Maybe if they hadn't of picked on my Nicholas Backstrom the entire game, causing him to slide into the wall repeatedly head first, he wouldn't have accidently tapped the puck into the Caps net. Just saying.
I forgive you Backstrom. You're still my favorite rookie player of all time and Sidney Crosby is a dick.

Sickest thing ever
So I was being bugged to start a blog for a while now, and my dear friend Nyna suggested that I start a sports blog because it's what I talk about 50% of the time. Yes, I'm a chick, but I do know my sports. And because hockey is my favorite thing in the world ever, it seemed fitting that this would be my first post...
On Sunday, right winger for the Florida Panther's, Richard Zednik's throat was cut my his own teammate's skate, Olli Jokinen.
"Blood was flying out of his throat. I was right there. At first I
didn't know it was my skate because I fell down. Then I saw the
replay," Jokinen said after the game. "I've never seen anything like
it."
Seriously, the sickest sports injury I've ever seen.
